The Situation
A Petaling Jaya couple in their late 50s had retirement statements, identification documents, and insurance summaries spread across drawers, a filing cabinet, and an old shoebox. Neither could confidently say what they held or where it all was.
What They Did
Both attended the workshop together and brought every document they could find. Anand walked them through the labelling system and helped them see which categories each document belonged to. The facilitator did not advise on the content of anything — just the organisation.
The Outcome
They left with a folder divided into eight clearly labelled sections, a one-page inventory, and — according to the wife — a much calmer conversation on the drive home about what they still needed to locate.
"We finally feel like we know what we have. That sounds simple but it took us years to do it."
The Situation
An HR manager in Klang had a cohort of 40 factory staff whose retirement dates were within five years. She wanted to offer them something useful but had no internal capacity to run a retirement preparation programme.
What Was Arranged
Goldenfold delivered three two-hour sessions in the company's meeting room, scheduling them across shifts so most staff could attend at least two. Topics covered the EPF withdrawal process, documentation required at exit, and a session on organising personal records.
The Outcome
Attendance was higher than expected. The HR manager noted that a number of staff had questions in the sessions that she had not known they had. The company ran the engagement again six months later for a newer cohort.
