Goldenfold Programmes
Three Programmes, Each with a Clear and Modest Aim
Read about retirement topics with a small group. Organise your documents into a folder that makes sense. Or bring a programme on-site for your staff. That is the full scope of what Goldenfold does.

How Every Goldenfold Programme Is Structured
Every programme we run follows the same underlying principle: participants should leave with something more useful than when they arrived, and the session should not push them in any commercial direction.
For the reading group, that means a completed workbook and a better vocabulary. For the records workshop, a finished folder. For the workplace programme, a series of sessions that staff can actually attend without rearranging their whole day.
Content is drawn from publicly available official sources. Workbooks are reviewed whenever source material changes. And no programme involves any commercial recommendation.
Source publicly available material
Official government and EPF publications form the basis of all reading materials.
Adapt into plain-English workbooks
Materials are rewritten for a general adult audience, with guided discussion questions.
Run in small, attended sessions
Groups of no more than twelve, with a facilitator present to answer questions about the material.
Collect feedback and update
Written feedback after every session feeds into the next revision of the workbook.
Saturday Reading Group on Retirement Topics
A small, regular gathering where participants read and discuss publicly available materials on retirement systems, household budgeting in later life, and the practical questions that come up when work winds down. Each session opens with a short topic summary, followed by a quiet group discussion guided by a workbook of plain-English questions.
- Max 12 participants per session
- Workbook included — take it home
- Typically twice monthly, Saturday mornings 9–11.30 am
- No individual advice given — purely educational
Personal Records Folder Workshop
A four-hour practical session for organising retirement-related paperwork into a single, readable folder. Participants bring their statements, identification documents, work history, and beneficiary records. We provide labelled dividers, a paper inventory sheet, and a calm space at a large table. The facilitator answers questions about labelling and arrangement — not about the content of your documents.
- Four hours at a wide, comfortable table
- Folder, dividers, and inventory sheet provided
- Leave with a completed, labelled folder on the day
- Family members welcome to attend alongside
Pre-Retirement Education Programme for Workplaces
A structured programme for employers who would like to offer staff a calm, factual introduction to retirement before the date arrives. Delivered across three two-hour sessions on the employer's site, covering the public retirement framework, documents an employee will be asked for at exit, and the personal admin that makes the transition manageable. The content is informational only.
- Three on-site sessions of two hours each
- Delivered at the employer's premises
- Covers EPF framework, exit documentation, and personal admin
- Invoice provided for employer records
